Security Architect/Consultant - Internal Integrations Team - Service Mesh, Container Platforms & Kafka

• Up to £850 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)
• London (Remote) - Must be UK Based

• BPSS clearance will be required so you must be eligible for this

I am currently sourcing for a large consultancy who are looking to hire a Security Architect/Consultant to join a business-critical programme, primarily working with the internal integrations team.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Architect working in a large, complex organisation (ideally a financially regulated enterprise eg PCI).
• Previous experience and knowledge of service mesh, container platforms and data solutions such as Kafka.
• Previous exposure to working with Developers to identify and understand their problems.
• Previous experience of assuring and advising on secure systems design eg common patterns and security design etc.
• Good grasp of application security issues eg XSS vs SSRF and knowledge of OWASP T10 + API etc.
• Good knowledge of cryptography (more than an average developer).
• Able to keep up with conversations around common CI/CD topics.
• Grasp of what constitutes general best practice approach for this type of organisation (large financial organisation).
• General cloud security knowledge.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience of working on major programmes within a large financial organisation.
• Immediate availability
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
